International Travel Grant
The international travel grant supports the presentation of candidates' research at international conferences and helps to promote research projects and opportunities at the SMI internationally. The grant provides up to $3000 financial assistance to MPhil and PhD candidates enrolled through the SMI.
The grant is available to candidates who have successfully completed their Confirmation of Candidature milestone, and is backdated to the 1st January 2009.

SMI Student Publication Support Scheme
The SMI Research Committee awards up to five scholarships per year to SMI candidates who would like to write journal articles for publication after the submission of their thesis. The scholarship award value is ~$5,500 over a period of 3 months. For more information, including when you can apply for the scholarship, please read the scholarship guidelines.
