Tyne has a Masters of Digital Design - majoring in Education from The Queensland College of Art (Griffith University) as well as a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Journalism, Communication and Media Studies. Tyne works as a freelance designer and has been working at the Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMI) since October 2016.

Most notably during her time at SMI she has worked on turning the 'Why Agreements Matter Guide' into a training package for Rio Tinto using the platform Shorthand. Currently, working with SMI's Education team Tyne is designing workbooks for professional development courses, book covers, brochures, reports, website design, logos, posters, powerpoint templates, newsletters, graphics, re-freshing of SMI's social media accounts and the 2016 SMI Annual Report.


Tyne works part-time at SMI (Thursday & Friday) The other days of the week you will find Tyne at QAAFI (Mondays - Wednesdays) in QAAFI's Communication and Marketing team.
