Tami specialises in environmental management, development and delivery of environmental systems, risk identification and impact management strategies

Currently working on an infrastructure development project in Kenya

Tami completed her PhD in zoology with a research focus on behavioural ecology of marine mammals. She worked in academia and Government for 10 years on a broad range of species and locations around the world.

In 2006, Tami was employed in a role in industry supporting environmental management, program development and compliance during construction for the mining industry. During her time as Global Environmental Manager for Bechtel Mining & Metals she supported development and execution of approximately 30 studies/projects across 5 continents.

In this capacity, she coordinated and worked with industry partners and stakeholders in the planning, mitigation and management controls aspects of large scale mining projects. Tami has managed and delivered both terrestrial and marine critical habitat studies as well as community impact surveys.

In 2016, Tami formed Convergent Solutions International with the aim of providing further support and an innovative approach to the development and delivery of environmental management in industry.
