Steph provides high-level administrative and executive assistance support to the Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMI) and the Environment Centres; the Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation (CMLR) and the Centre for Water in the Minerals Industry (CWiMI). Steph is the committee secretariat for the Environment Centre's Advisory Board and the SMI Health, Safety and Wellness Committee.

Steph has extensive experience in business administration and joined the Environment Centres' in April 2018. Steph has a Diploma of Business Administration (Distinction), from TAFE NSW and a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Jewellery & Object Art Design) from The University of Sydney, (Sydney College of the Arts).

Previous to her current position at The University of Queensland, Steph worked for the Australian Catholic University (ACU) in the School of Physiotherapy, for seven years. She also worked in the ACU School of Science and the Faculty of Law and Business. Prior to this Steph worked in various government and private administration, clerical and secretarial roles.
