Vladimir’s aim is to provide solutions for a step change in the energy and and production signatures of process plants for the global minerals industry.

He is an expert in:
• Novel approaches to Classification in Mineral processing
• Research and Innovation for Mineral processing solutions (Ore sorting, Selective breakage and Microwave technology)

Vladimir has been in Research & Development of novel processes and equipment for more than 10 years. His background includes experience in sorting, mineral classification and microwave technology. After his PhD studies at University of Queensland, Vladimir has been focused on the development of advanced technologies for the separation and upgrading of important minerals such as copper and nickel, with increased energy efficiency. In past few years, he has, also, been working on radically improving classification performances of semi-inverted hydrocyclones.

Industry

During his career, Vladimir has been engaged with mining companies such as Rio Tinto, Anglo American, Barrick Gold Corporation. etc; supplier company Metso Mineral and a number of other companies/organisations through projects with the CRC ORE.
