Dr Marie-Louise Johnson is a Business Manager at SMI covering the Minerals Industry Safety and Health Centre, Developing Minerals, Complex Orebodies and Governance and Leadership Programs and the CRC TiME. She has a PhD in Entomology and has studied and/or worked in many research and government organisations both in Australia and overseas. Marie-Louise brings a multifaceted experience to SMI with experience as a researcher in Entomology working closely with the Agriculture and Horticulture industries, working with Government on policy and environmental assessment, developing training programs in the South Pacific and in recent years gaining wide experience with research grants at UQ. Her passion is working cross discipline, working on an international level and contributing to the success of new projects.
