SMI has a HPT2300 Poster Printer on Level 5 (Sir James Foots Building) available for SMI staff and student use for work/study/research related purposes only. The printer can print A2 to A0 size posters and in either colour or monochrome.

How to Request a Poster Print Job

  1. Ensure your file is the full size that you require and not A4 or A3. Please print anything smaller than A2 to your usual printer.
  2. Always add your name and poster version number to the file name so it can be easily identified.
  3. If your file is less than 18MB, email your request at least one week in advance with a PDF-formatted file to Steph. Please use your UQ student or staff account to send your file. Emails sent from private accounts might get blocked by UQ's spam filter.
  4. Specify in your request all printing requirements (i.e. number of prints, size, colour/black and white etc.)
  5. If your file is larger than 18MB, save it to a USB stick and deliver to Steph in room 557 (Level 5, Sir James Foots Building) for printing.

Any questions please ring, email or visit Steph (X 64224)

If Steph is not available/away requests may be directed to Elisabeth Hansen.
