19 August 2013: The BRC hosted a one day workshop for 20 representatives visiting Australia on the Peru School of Engineers Mining Mission.
As part of the program Dr Tony Webster presented a seminar on Rock Mass Characterisation and Mechanical Properties and Professor Gideon Chitombo presented on Overview General Mining Methods, Operational Hazards and Geotechnical Monitoring and 'Stabilisation and ground support.'
Good discussion and feedback was received.
