A leading hydrologist has been appointed the next Director of the Centre for Water in the Minerals Industry.
Dr Neil McIntyre has joined CWiMI from Imperial College London, where he was a member of the Hydrology Research Group. A graduate from Edinburgh University with a degree in Civil Engineering, Neil worked in the water industry before moving to Imperial College, where he gained an MSc in environmental engineering and a PhD in water quality modelling.
“Neil brings considerable experience in hydrology research and a strong publication track record. I look forward to the contribution Neil will make to CWiMI and the broader Sustainable Minerals Institute in coming years,” SMI Director Professor Chris Moran said.
