Patterns and Perspectives in Mineral Systems and Mining Systems
Speaker: Dr Paul Hodkiewicz, Consultant and Advisor, Independent
Abstract: Geoscience data from innovative sensing and scanning technologies reveal new spatial data patterns and ore body knowledge that improve our understanding of mineral systems and support the development of integrated mining systems. This webinar will explore this theme in more detail.
Bio: Paul Hodkiewicz has worked as a geoscientist in the mining industry for 35 years across a range of commodities and mineral systems, in exploration, resource development, mining operations and in senior technical and management roles, with Anglo American, BHP, SRK Consulting, Newmont and Freeport McMoran. He completed BSc and MSc degrees in geology and structural geology in the US and a PhD in economic geology at UWA. He is currently an independent consultant, advisor and mentor based in Perth.
