Design, process and hydraulic limitations of control strategies for Flotation Bank Optimisation
Speaker: Oscar Castro, Global Product Line Manager Performance IQ, FLSMIDTH
Abstract: This seminar will outline the importance of applying process knowledge in defining process control strategies. Furthermore, to investigate how phenomenological aspects of fluodynamic and flotation theories define limits and restrictions for process control strategies, which alter the potential success of process optimisation.
Bio: Oscar Castro is a Metallurgical Engineer from the University of Santiago, Chile. He holds a Master of Engineering Science from The University of Queensland, Australia, in Hydrocyclone Modeling and Rheology. Oscar is a professional with more than 38 years of experience in the mining sector.
