Coal mine technologies and automates systems must accommodate human abilities and limitations. We will describe, demonstrate, and disseminate tools and techniques that can do this, and how industry can integrate the tools into their systems.
Impact
The objective is to describe, demonstrate, and disseminate tools and techniques by which automated subsystems and other new technologies being introduced to coal mines can fully accommodate human abilities and limitations, and be fully integrated into overall work systems.
