Biography                                                                   

Pablo is a PhD candidate in Environmental Sciences with a specialisation in Continental Aquatic Systems at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Universidad de Concepción, Chile. His doctoral research aims to assess the impacts of climate change on water security in the Mataquito River Basin, located in the Mediterranean region of Central Chile. Specifically, Pablo seeks to analyse changes in water quality and quantity over the past 30 years that can be attributed to climate change.

Academic Background

Pablo holds a degree in Marine Biology and a Master’s in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics from Universidad de Concepción, Chile. Additionally, he has completed postgraduate diplomas in Service Innovation Management and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Industry Experience

Pablo has over 15 years of professional experience, with a strong scientific background and expertise in managing projects with environmental and social components. He has worked as an environmental consultant in the pulp and mining industries. His primary role has been to lead projects to ensure compliance with Chilean environmental regulations.
