Rebecca Perrett

Rebecca Perret joined Newmont in September 2019 as Group Executive Safety. With over 15 years of experience in the mining industry, Rebecca is leading the Fatality Risk Management program for Newmont and represents Newmont on the ICMM Safety Working Group. Before she arrived at Newmont, Rebecca worked at Shell, Rio Tinto and BHP in a variety of roles in Unconventional gas, global major projects, Group Safety and Iron Ore. Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Ergonomics from The University of Queensland, a Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety from Edith Cowen University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Curtin University.
