Diane is interested in junior mining companies and how they contemplate their social responsibilities and implement it in their activities. 

Biography

Diane completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Notre Dame Australia in Western Australia. She has subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma of Science at James Cook University, a Master of Environmental Science at Griffith University (both in Queensland) and a Master of Business Administration at Curtin University in Western Australia.  Diane started her PhD with The University of Queensland in 2021.

Industry

Diane has over twenty years' experience across the government and mining sectors working predominantly in environmental impact assessment and permitting, operational environmental management and government affairs functions.  While in the mining sector, Diane has worked with exploration and junior explorers and multi-national mining companies in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Australia.  She currently works part-time with a global mining consulting company on social and environment due diligence of mining projects for financial institutions.
