Lexi K'ng is a geoscientist specialising in the sampling and characterisation of mine waste deposits. She will be working on projects focused on characterisation and resource potential of mine wastes.

Lexi graduated with a BSc in Geology and Geography from the University of Tasmania (2018). After completing her BSc, she completed her BSc (Hons) in Environmental Geochemistry, with a focus on characterising geochemical and physical properties of tailings, Rosebery Tasmania (2019). This research project was part of the Transforming the Mining Value Chain (TMVC). 
 
Professionally, Lexi worked at an environmental consultancy as a geoscientist on a range of industry and government projects from exploration through to rehabilitation and closure (2020-2022).
