Sijia Wang's research focus is on secondary prospectivity of mine waste in NSW - a government funded project- sampling tailings across metalliferous and coal sites

Sijia graduated with a BEnvS(Hons) in Earth Resources from The University of Queensland (2023). Her honours research project focuses on earth system sciences and climate change impact on catchment's hydrology. Additionally, Sijia worked as a volunteer on a hydrogeology project with the SMI's Centre for Water in the Minerals Industry, researching the effect of fire on soil physio-chemical properties of Temperate Highland Peat Swamps on Sandstone (THPSS).
