Shuoyang Liu is a PhD candidate researching green ironmaking, with a focus on the reduction behaviour, fragmentation mechanisms, and softening-melting behaviour of iron ore during hydrogen-based reduction. This work aims to advance sustainable steel production methods by replacing traditional carbon-intensive processes with hydrogen reduction.
Shuoyang holds a Master of Materials Science and Engineering from The University of New South Wales (Australia), and a bachelor’s degree in Material Science and Engineering from Sichuan University (China).
