Claire Dover is the Senior Manager, Research Partnerships and Development at the Sustainable Minerals Institute, where she leads strategic engagement across the Institute’s research portfolio and builds strong partnerships with industry and government. Her role includes oversight of complex research contracting, governance frameworks, and operational systems that enable high‑quality collaborative research. Prior to this, Claire worked as a commercial lawyer, and more recently as a Research Commercial Manager within UQ’s Research Office, negotiating high‑value and high‑risk research contracts, advising on intellectual property and commercialisation matters, and supporting researchers from a wide range of disciplines.
