Elisabeth Hansen holds the Business Manager role for both Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation and Centre for Water in Minerals Industry at SMI, to help facilitate the Institute’s research outcomes. Elisabeth is not only passionate about contract and project management but also industry engagement.

Elisabeth brings substantial experience in contract review and administration to CMLR and CWiMI.  Elisabeth commenced at UQ/SMI in March 2015 in a paralegal function after a long career in the legal and coal seam gas industries in both Australia and abroad.

As the Intellectual Property (IP) Coordinator of SMI, Elisabeth also provides secretariat support to the SMI IP Committee and assists the Deputy Director - Operations in the management of all IP related matters at SMI.
