Miguel is a strategic partner of RESOLVE, Managing Partner and founder of CCPM Grupo Consultor and a member of the International Technical Committee (COMREL) of the Center for Social Responsibility in Mining (CSRM) of The University of Queensland.

He has more than 15 years of international experience as a researcher, consultant, and manager in the extractive industries sector. He has focused on the understanding of community - company relationship dynamics, looking for innovative solutions to develop mutually beneficial relationships.

Miguel is based in Peru and has advised multinational mining and energy companies in Latin America to help them prevent and address of social risks and conflicts of major projects He has in depth experience and expertise on relations with Indigenous communities.  Miguel was in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility management for Rio Tinto´s La Granja Project in Peru.

He has served as National Adviser for the Ministry of Health of Peru in social policies and has provided consultancy support to the Peruvian Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Energy and Mines on issues such as the implementation of Prior Consultation processes and Indigenous Participation in Mining. He has also collaborated as a consultant with the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation and German Cooperation (GIZ).

Miguel holds a degree in Social Sciences, with a specialization in Social Anthropology and a Master's degree in Social Management from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú
