Professor Chris Aldrich has more than 30 years' experience in industry and academia

including managerial experience in various Head of Department and R & D roles.  His core expertise is in mineral processing and process automation in the mining an dmetallurgical industries.  Chris has published extensively in the engineering literature. His current research interests include the development and applicaton of deep machine learning methods to mining and metallurgical process systems, nonlinear signal processing and advanced modelling and control.
