Head of HSE, BMA Coal, Bobbie Foot is a recognised leader in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) innovation in the mining industry. 
Bobbie leads a team of 220 professionals to develop and deliver leading HSE practice across BHP Mitsubishi Alliance, a world leading producer of seaborne coking coal that directly employs 10,000 people. Bobbie also serves as an advisory director on the board of the University of QLD Health and Safety research centre, as an industry representative on the Coal Mining Safety and Health Advisory Committee and previously as a Director on the board for the Occupational Therapist Association of Queensland. 
With a strong commitment and values-based leadership, her 17 year career in the resources industry has always focused on driving innovation to continuously improve HSE outcomes and reduce risk. She’s led significant cultural change at BHP and now across the industry, resulting in better safety and health outcomes and prevention of injuries and fatalities.
