Ms Rebecca Perrett

Rebecca joined Newmont in September 2019 as Group Executive Safety. With over 15 years’ experience in the mining industry, Rebecca is leading the Fatality Risk Management program for Newmont, and represents Newmont on the ICMM Safety Working Group.   Prior to her arrival at Newmont, Rebecca worked at Shell, Rio Tinto and BHP in a variety of roles in Unconventional gas, global major projects, Group Safety and Iron Ore. Rebecca holds a Master’s in Ergonomics from The University of Queensland, a Post Graduate in Occupational Health and Safety from Edith Cowen and a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Curtin University.
