
Dr Yumei Du is currently a Research Assistant at the Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation, The University of Queensland. Her main responsibility is to provide technical support to research staff by means of ICP-OES, ICP-MS, ect for chemical/ mineral analysis of elements in soil, tailing, plant and technosol samples from the research about metal mine land rehabilitation. She is also responsible for conducting glasshouse pot trails in soil management and technosol interactions with plants.
Having obtained a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy and a master’s degree in Plant Nutrition and Soil Science in China, Yumei obtained her PhD in Plant Nutrition from The University of Queensland in 2014.
