Deirdré Lingenfelder

Deirdré Lingenfelder is the Vice President HSE for the Rio Tinto Copper and Diamonds Product Group, based in Brisbane, Australia. She is responsible for leading the implementation of the HSE and Sustainability strategies in Mongolia, the USA, Canada and Australia.

Deirdré joined Rio Tinto in June 2017. She was previously employed in various global leadership roles in Anglo American and De Beers. Deirdré has 21  years experience in sustainability management and leadership within the multi-commodity mining, industrial and luxury goods sectors.
