As Principal Executive Advisor, Sarah provides guidance and support to the Director of the Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining on a range of operational, administrative, and research-related matters. Her excellent interpersonal and consultative skills—developed over years of working as a Research Assistant at The University of New South Wales—include her ability to communicate and negotiate with staff and stakeholders at all levels.

Sarah recently completed a PhD in Australian Literature at The University of New South Wales, in addition to which she holds a Master of Arts from The University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Queensland. Sarah brings with her experience of the Research Offices at both UNSW and UQ, where she facilitated the dissemination of information and provided strategic advice to researchers on sources of research support and relevant issues related to funding opportunities and grant life cycles.
