The University of Queensland's Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMI) is committed to training the next generation of industry and community leaders through higher degrees by research (HDR), formal teaching programs and public and bespoke professional development courses, to support a pipeline of appropriately skilled industry and community leaders.
As a provider of world class education, SMI supervises students undertaking a Higher Degree by Research. A number of our staff also assist Faculties across the University in the development and delivery of taught courses, as well as teaching UQ undergraduate courses.
