Laura Sonter travels to Brazil

18 Mar 2013

Last year, Laura had an incredible opportunity to spend 6 months living and working in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She was based at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where she was hosted by her co-advisor, Professor Britaldo Soares-Filho. Her trip was funded by an International Collaboration Award that she received from the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF). These scholarships enable RHD students to travel internationally to conduct research on issues related to climate change, adaptation and mitigation policy, and the effects of management on biodiversity.
