SMI are hosting a group from Vietnam for an English and mining management training program
All 15 participants are young leaders from member companies of Vinacomin (the State-owned mining company in Vietnam), including 3 from Vinacomin headquarters. Their average age is around 40 and they all hold Director or Deputy Director roles in a range of functions.
They have been studying English in Vietnam for nine months, and are coming to Brisbane for a 12 week program at UQ. The first five weeks will be an intensive English program with ICTE, followed by a seven week program focused on all aspects of the mining lifecycle, and the latest technology developments in the sector coordinated by SMI.
