SMI launches EnvironMENTORS programs

The Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation and the Centre for Water in the Minerals Industry, also known collectively as the Environment Centres recently launched it EnvironMENTORS mentoring program as part of pilot program being led by UQ’s Graduate School.

The EnvironMENTORS program aims to connect SMI’s Environment Centres Higher Degree by Research students with industry and discipline leaders in the resources sector, government, NGO’s and the SMI, to develop the future knowledge leaders and to create change for responsible resource development.

The programs aims to provide professional development and career support for HDR students and to make a stronger connections with our stakeholders including board members, board alumni, alumni and academic staff.
