UQ’s Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining (CSRM) has developed learning materials about the social performance aspects of the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM).
These materials were originally designed to support 2, 90minute follow-up “live” Zoom sessions with 20 industry professionals prepared to think about the social performance aspects of the GISTM and work through scenarios during a respectful, multi-disciplinary conversation.
The “pre-work” for those sessions is now available for other stakeholders to access freely. (Spanish and Portuguese translations available now.)
