Daishisha Iawphniaw holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a master's degree in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from India. She is currently pursuing a joint PhD at The University of Queensland and the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi through the UQ-IITD Research Academy. Her research focuses on addressing cross-continental soil erosion challenges in Australia and India, with a particular emphasis on the impacts of climate change.
