About the Forum
Dust lung diseases remain a significant risk for workers in mining and other dust-generating industries. Although there has been substantial progress in exposure monitoring, health surveillance, regulation, research and control technologies, important knowledge gaps remain.
The Forum provides a dedicated space to share current research, practical case studies, regulatory updates, industry experience and emerging approaches to protecting workers from harmful dust and airborne contaminants.
The 2026 Forum will focus on practical knowledge exchange, emerging research, and opportunities to improve prevention and health outcomes across sectors.
Please note: to help cover the increased costs and improved experience of a city centre venue, a registration fee will apply.
