Geology, Mining and Metallurgy Professional Development

Our geology, mining and metallurgy courses address key and ongoing development needs identified through our collaborative research activities. In addition to public courses, we are experienced in developing tailored programs for industry partners.

Courses are designed and delivered by leading academics and indsutry experts in SMI's Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC) and the WH Bryan Mining Geology Research Centre (BRC). They are designed in a modular and intensive format to fit around the commitments of a full-time job.  Attendance at public courses also provides an opportunity for interaction with like-minded practitioners from other organisations.

Researchers from JKMRC and BRC also work closely with JKTech on their suite of professional development options – view JKTech's course listings.
