Resourcing Decarbonisation Showcase
18 February 2025 8:30am–1:00pm
About Resourcing Decarbonisation Showcase
The Resourcing Decarbonisation Program is addressing materials supply and associated challenges on the path to net zero.
An exponential scale-up in the discovery and production of metals and industrial aggregates is required to achieve the energy transition. As such, the resources sector will play a central role but there are equally significant challenges in timelines, community concerns, regulation and policy, business readiness and environmental impacts.
In this half-day showcase we present on the risks and innovations entailed by this global shift, as part of The University of Queensland's Resourcing Decarbonisation Program.
Over 20 projects have been funded through the Program, and are in various stages of progression. This showcase is an opportunity to learn more about some of the projects, and hear about where the future might be going in this space. Please see the Resourcing Decarbonisation webpage for project information.
Registrations for the showcase have now closed, if you wish to attend please email Ben Seligmann
Showcase attendance is in-person only.
