Net-effect of operational activities
The Energy Transition and Integration (ET&I) program places significant focus on the “net-effect” environmental impact, encompassing both emitted and absorbed/sequestered greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
To genuinely grasp the net-zero paradigm and thoroughly explore the net effect of mining company operations, a holistic perspective involving all influencing factors is imperative. This approach sheds light on the intricate interplay, enabling a thorough understanding of the environmental implications inherent to operational activities.
Through meticulous data collection, analysis, and lifecycle assessment, we can provide a comprehensive overview of a mining operation's environmental impact. By considering factors such as emissions, energy consumption, waste generation, and ecosystem impact, we help mining industries achieve a holistic understanding of their operations' sustainability.
Armed with this knowledge, mining companies can implement targeted strategies to optimize their processes, minimize adverse effects, and demonstrate their commitment to responsible practices.
