New Economy Minerals Compilation project is series of reports compiled by the Total Deposit Knowledge group within the WH Bryan Mining Geology Research Centre (BRC), on geoscientific information and interpretations as an aid to exploration targeting for New Economy Minerals including:
- Cobalt (Co)
- Rare Earth Elements (REE)
- Tin – Tungsten (Sn-W)
- Scandium (Sc)
- Molybdenum – Rhenium (Mo-Re)
- Silica (Si)
- Indium – Gallium – Germanium (In-Ga-Ge)
An online prospectivity tool was also created which allows users to query and modify the components of the prospectivity analysis for various deposit models
The approach we have taken is based on the methodology established by Geoscience Australia, as described in prospectivity analyses for Ni-Cu-Co-PGE and IOCG Cu-Au-U-REE.
