While there is an extensive – and growing – body of literature on agreement making and implementation in Australia and Canada, relatively little is known about how local level agreements (LLAs) are made and function in emerging mining economies.
This seminar will provide an overview of Australian research and innovation strategies and Korean policy on research and innovation, and research commercialisation focusing on activities between CRCs and KBRC at Korea University.
The research is expected to deliver innovative and feasible technology and methodology to rehabilitate tailings - the most costly and challenging domains at mine sites and refineries, in order to significantly improve economic and ecological sustainability of mining and minerals industries in Australia and overseas.
